Why student work?

Students are where it’s at.  I remember the life change that occurred for me while in college.  I made some big decisions about myself, God, and how I saw the world during those 5 years with the help of a few people who shared with me a little of themselves, God, and of their own experiences following Christ in our world.  I want to do the same for those who are coming after me.  I don’t want the chain of “generations” investing in lives to stop with me.

What would you be doing if you were not on staff?

I’d probably be doing music somewhere professionally...or working as a part time model.

Where have you seen God lately? 

I’ve seen God in my new son, Aidan.  He’s helped me understand unconditional love of someone who is utterly, hands down the most gross person in the room.  My son sometimes poops his pants and then will start pooping on your hands as you try to change his diaper.  He will also at times grab tiny fistfuls of his own spit-up and eat it.  I love him the same.  I can’t help it.  It’s not even a choice.  I know I’ve been way grosser towards God.  It’s easier for me to believe God could love me that way ever since Aidan entered our lives.
