Why student work?

The people. Students are the future and think beyond themselves to others. The energy. There is no place like a college campus. The challenge. Keeping up with the generational changes stretches me and keeps me learning and changing.

What would you be doing if you were not on staff?

Actually, I'd be a pastor or professor somewhere. I finished my doctorate and have the chance to teach some courses at several seminaries. I enjoy that also.

Where have you seen God lately? 

In surprising ways. In the Bible (not surprising).  In journaling and getting my thoughts on paper.  In preparing to speak at Challenge, at churches, at other places.  In the lives of my children and grandchildren.

Anything else?

We are taking our entire family to Disney World during Fall Break week!
